11+ Poetry Comprehension
This book has been written and designed principally with 11+ students in mind, as poetry is increasingly becoming a key component of many selective entry exams. But the book is by no means limited to this cohort and will be beneficial to all children in the 9 – 14 age bracket. There are 30 classic poems covering a range of topics, themes and styles, and ordered by level of difficulty. Each poem is preceded by an introduction to the poet and followed by a mix of multiple choice and written response-style questions. There are also a number of more challenging extended-answer questions for the more advanced or ambitious students.
